Regular Rotation & Flipping

Rotate weekly for the first 3 months, then once a month thereafter.
Flip your futon regularly if it’s a two-sided model (cotton or cotton/wool futons).
One-sided or latex-layer futons: rotate only; do not flip.
Regular rotation helps the filling settle evenly and prevents body impressions.

Airing Your Futon

Air your futon monthly in a well-ventilated room or shaded outdoor area.
Stand it on its side or lay it flat in gentle sunlight (avoid strong, direct sun).
This keeps the fibres fresh and discourages moisture build-up or odours.

Keeping It Clean

Use a washable futon cover or protector to keep your mattress clean.
Spot clean only:
Use a slightly damp cloth with mild natural soap.
Blot gently; do not rub or soak.
